This Thursday, July 4th, is the annual Lebanon Borough Independence Day Parade. Traditionally, we Democrats have had a strong presence at the parade. If you do plan to attend, no RSVP is needed but please be sure to bring sunscreen and plenty of water to stay hydrated! The roads in the Borough close at 9:00 AM. We will be gathering at 8:30.
This year the Democrats are #39 on the tentative list and should be lining up at or around the intersection of Main Street and Clark Road (https://maps.app.goo.gl/v9fbyiNajMyLE427A).
Parking is limited, so please carpool if possible. There should be limited parking on Clark Street and across Route 22 by several commercial office buildings off Corporate Drive. If crossing Route 22, please use care and cross only at crosswalks.
For more information please see the parade website, https://lebanonboro4thofjulyparade.com, or reach out to the Lebanon Borough Democratic Municipal Chair, Ben Valliere, at benvalliere@gmail.com.
After the parade, please feel welcome to partake in refreshments and free hot dogs in the park!
We hope to see you at the parade and to share in the spirit of Independence Day on Thursday!
